What to Do at Home
For mild kennel cough, ensure your dog gets rest, stays hydrated, and avoids stressful situations. Use a harness instead of a collar to reduce tracheal pressure. Keep the environment free of smoke and strong odors. If symptoms persist beyond two weeks or worsen at any point, schedule a vet visit.
